NS&I can also look back at older prizes which have not yet been claimed.
However, for those who are less keen on the online tool, there are alternative methods by which to check.
Britons can also check if they have won prizes by simply using their voice.
As NS&I has explained, if a person has an Amazon Alexa, they can enable the Premium Bonds prize checker skill.
Once this is done, individuals will be able to check for prizes, find out when the next draw takes place, and check if they have any prizes which are unclaimed.
The same process can also be carried out by NS&I’s smartphone app to help Britons check their winnings at the click of a button.
Finally, at present, some individuals will be informed of their winnings by post, but this is a service which will not last much longer.
NS&I previously announced it is set to phase out its prize warrant post service.
This means individuals will be required to inform NS&I of their bank details in order to carry on receiving any prizes they win.
For individuals lucky enough to win a high value prize – £5,000 or more – there are certain steps which NS&I go on to take.
Britons will not be paid automatically, and instead can expect to hear from NS&I with a claim form in the post.
Here, winners will be able to tell the savings company how they would like to be paid.
However, for the fortunate millionaires, NS&I will usually visit them in person to confirm the good news.
In the current circumstances, though, this cannot be done due to coronavirus, and so NS&I will reach out to winners as soon as possible.
