Eamonn Ferrin, NCL Vice President & Managing Director in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, said: “The pandemic has reminded the nation that life is for living.
“It’s uplifting to see that Brits are embracing new challenges and experiences.
“At NCL, we encourage everyone to say yes to travel and break free from 2020, when it is safe to do so.”
The study revealed 45 percent will be saying yes to spending more time with family and friends after months of restrictions, while 36 percent will be open to talking more to new people.
Another 44 percent will be making more of an effort to try new things and 35 percent will no longer try to get out of spontaneous nights out.
Around a quarter won’t turn down date nights and three in 10 won’t hesitate to spend more money.
But with 44 percent wishing they’d done more travelling before the pandemic; this was also found to be the activity Brits are now most likely to say yes to.
More than half (56 percent) plan on taking more spontaneous trips and 64 percent look forward to visiting new destinations.
While the research carried out through OnePoll found a quarter will be booking their dream trip sooner than expected.
Just over a third plan on spending more time abroad and 33 percent will be taking longer holidays compared to before the pandemic.
Eamonn Ferrin added: “We recently announced our highly anticipated return to service, with new itineraries sailing Europe and The Caribbean this summer.
“Our dedicated team has spent the last year working tirelessly towards resumption of operations and we can’t wait to welcome new and loyal guests onboard as part of our great cruise comeback.
“Take the leap in 2021 and get ready for adventure.”
