Kate Middleton: Duchess of Cambridge’s lockdown parenting lessons with children

Royals are not immune to the results of coronavirus and Kate has discussed her experience a number of times since the pandemic began. The Duchess discussed cutting her childrens’ hair and running lessons at home.

The royal told parents she found teaching her children in the day “exhausting”.

Kate appeared in a lockdown video call with parents to discuss how life in the pandemic was going.

In the virtual discussion, Kate told other parents: “We’ve had to become a teacher – and I think, personally, I feel pulled in so many different directions and you try your best with everything but at the end of the day I do feel exhausted”.

Kate and William do employ a nanny Maria Borallo, although it is not known if she is living with them in lockdown.

It sits on her Sandringham Estate, where Her Majesty spends Christmas every year.

In April she told the BBC there had been “ups and downs.”

She talked about dealing with making her children aware of the pandemic.

The Duchess went on: “George is much older than Louis is, but they are aware, I’m always surprised.

She explained: “One thing I really admire about Kate Middleton is how hands-on she is with her family.

She is incredibly tactile, and unlike royals of the past who might stand back from their parenting duties, she is always seen carrying her children or holding their hand and getting stuck in.”

Camilla Parker Bowles’ with Kate Middleton’s children was analysed by a body language expert.

What is the Duchess of Cornwall’s body language like with her stepson’s children?
