Onwubwalili, who was inspirational for his side throughout the championship, was rewarded with the best bowler and Most Valuable Player awards for his exploits at the championship.
Paul Pam from Northwest won the Best Batsman award while the best fielder award went to Huzaifah Abdulsalam.
South-South defeated South-West by 23 runs to clinch the second position.
Speaking after the event, on behalf of the sponsors of the event – PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Mr Tolu Adeleke said that he was satisfied with the level of competition right from the zonal elimination stages of the finals in Abuja.
He expressed optimism that the partnership between PwC and the Nigeria Cricket Federation, NCF, will continue to flourish, adding that the company was considering more intervention in the North East.
