Manchester United have high hopes for their youngsters with Amad leading the way after his arrival in January. But he is not the only one and the likes of Shola Shoretire and Hannibal Mejbri have massive potential, though they may have to leave on loan.

United ace Amad has already proved he has the capabilities to make it at the very top after a stunning cameo appearance in the Europa League.

Coaches have also been wowed by the 18-year-old in training and cannot believe he only signed in January as he feels right at home already.

It all points towards a huge future with the Red Devils, who forked out up to €40m for his services from Atalanta.

But the teenager is not the only catching the eye at United’s Carrington training complex.

According to ESPN, Shoretire and Mejbri are the two standout talents at youth level.

They are being earmarked as the next ones to graduate from the academy, with Shoretire already making his debut for the club.

However, plans are afoot over potentially letting them leave on loan in a bid to help them develop further and gain valuable first-team experience.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been careful when it comes to bringing through the youth but his safe policy has already worked.

Mason Greenwood was another who was impressing coaches at youth level but the Norwegian coach opted to gradually break the Englishman in o the first-team and now he is a regular.

The same policy is already in place with Amad, who has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League.

Instead, the Ivorian has played four times off the bench in the Europa League and FA Cup – scoring a vital and brilliant goal against AC Milan along the way.

Shoretire has appeared in the Premier League but Solskjaer has admitted he will not rush the 17-year-old.

“He’s a young kid we believe in,” he said.

“He’s got a great attitude, he’s an athlete, technically very, very good and makes good decisions.

“We want to gradually feed him into this team. He’s got his feet firmly on the ground hopefully we’ll see loads of in the future.”
