Where in England has vaccinated the most people with one dose?
The East of England leads compared to all other regions in terms of percentage of people vaccinated with first and second doses.
As of June 6, 4,032,302 first vaccine doses had been administered, meaning 69 percent of the population of the East of England has received at least one vaccination.
Following slightly behind the East of England is the South West, which has administered 3,579,581 first vaccine doses.
In the South West, 67.7 percent of the population had received at least one vaccine dose by June 6.
The North East and Yorkshire is third-highest in England in terms of first doses, with 5,252,882 first doses given out to 66.7 percent of the population.
In numbers alone, The Midlands has administered the most first vaccine doses in total with 6,317,322 doses given out.
However, with a population of more than 10 million according to the 2011 Census, the Midlands are behind other regions in terms of percentage, with 62.3 percent of the population vaccinated with one dose.
