Kate Middleton and William: Expert discusses wedding anniversary
Another said: “A perfectly lovely programme ruined by the last little dig by mentioning Harry and Meghan.
“Totally unnecessary, the programme wasn’t about them.”
A third complained: “Why did they need to talk about Meghan and Harry at the end thought this documentary was about Will and Kate’s wedding day?”

Another chimed in saying: “What a surprise, ITV couldn’t resist mentioning Harry and Meghan.
“When it’s their 10 year anniversary, make a documentary about it, until then, stop creating unnecessary drama”.
And another said: “There was so much they could have covered on the wedding of the decade!
“However, ITV started off with a comment on ‘no one could have imagined about the brothers parting ways 10 years hence’ & ended with a comment on Megxit. Terrible documentary.”

The first mention of the ongoing feud between the House of Windsor and the Sussexes came only a few minutes in the documentary.
The narrating voice said: “It was a day that united a family unaware of the future discord that would divide them – the day Will and Kate got married.”
The last few minutes of the documentary were also dedicated to the split between Harry and William.
The narrator, after speaking about the welcome Kate received from the Royal Family, said: “10 years on and three children later, the atmosphere inside the Firm has turned toxic.

“Following Harry and Meghan’s exit from public life in Britain, the Royal Family has faced its worse crisis since the death of Diana.”
Two experts taking part in the film also voiced their views on the rift.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl said: “William and Harry for many years have had an incredibly close relationship, you know, this unbreakable bond between two brothers who lost their mother.
“But when Harry met the one, he couldn’t live in the shadow of the Cambridges for any longer.”

Royal author Robert Lacey outlined how the departure of Meghan and Harry from the Royal Family as full-time working royals have put the spotlight on Kate and William – who now have a bigger weight to carry entirely on their shoulder.
He said: “The conflict between William and Harry will be resolved in one way or another.
“In a sense, life for William and Catherine became more simple when Harry and Meghan moved out of the picture and there was no competition anymore, or no confusion about who were the star couple.
“But the challenge of that is that they are now the star couple and the only couple.”
