Piers Morgan questions use of Meghan Markle’s royal title
The already difficult relationship of the Dukes is believed to have taken a further hit after Meghan and Harry’s statements made during their interview with Oprah.
Among the most damaging claims, Meghan said she was hugely struggling with her mental health during her first pregnancy but was refused help by the palace.
She also spoke of “concerns” being raised by an unnamed member of the Royal Family over “how dark” the skin of Archie would be.

These conversations, she added, were happening in tandem with discussions over whether her child should have received a title and security.
A few days after the two-hour-long interview aired, Meghan’s friend and broadcaster Gayle King told CBS This Morning the Harry had spoken to his father and brother over the phone.
While the Sussexes were happy a conversation had been put in motion, they branded their recent calls “unproductive”.
Despite the ongoing rift between Harry and William, several royal commentators expect the Duke of Sussex to travel across the pond this summer.

Appearing on ITV Lorraine, royal editor Russell Myers said: “William is still committed, as is Harry, to get together on July 1 for the unveiling of the
Princess Diana statue at Kensington Gardens.
“So this could be a monumental period for these two brothers.
“We’ve spoken about this rift for so long, but this would see them coming together for the greater good and I’m sure everyone will be delighted if that happens.”

The Royal Family at last year’s Commonwealth Day Service
Prince Harry and Prince William are expected to meet in what could be the first public meeting since the Commonwealth Day service in 2020 on July 1 at the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace – a much-loved place by Princess Diana.
There, on what would have been the Princess of Wales’ 60th birthday, they are set to unveil a statue they commissioned together to mark the 20th anniversary of their mother’s death.
Last August, the brothers showcased unity as they issued a joint statement on the statue.
Issued by Kensington Palace, the announcement read: “The statue that Prince William and Prince Harry have commissioned to commemorate their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, will be installed next year on what would have been her 60th birthday.

“The statue was commissioned to mark the 20th anniversary of her death and recognise her positive impact in the UK and around the world.
“The statue will be installed in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1 2021, marking the Princess’s 60th birthday.
“The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy.”
During his interview with Mr Bush, Mr Morgan spoke at length about the Sussexes, saying he would happily lead a two-hour-long interview with them to clarify a few statements they made to Oprah.

He said: “I would say to Meghan Markle, ‘Look… sit down with me with your husband for an equally long interview… and let me ask you more difficult questions about all your claims… but let me ask you a wider question, which is this… If you hate the Royal Family that much… why do you keep your royal titles…?
“‘Why would you do that if it’s just not to make millions and millions of dollars…?
“‘And playing the victim as you do is nauseating’.”
Mr Morgan claimed during ITV’s GMB he did not believe Meghan after she spoke about her mental health struggles.
His remarks sparked a furore among viewers, with more than 41,000 people lodging complaints at Ofcom within just hours.
The Duchess of Sussex is also understood to have complained about Mr Morgan’s comment.
He quit as co-host of the breakfast show two days after the interview aired in the US.
