The smiling royal heard about Villa Kitchen, which provides local groups with 1000 hot meals every week, and spoke to some of the members of the staff running it.
He also discussed the impact of the antenatal clinics that have been operating from Villa Park since the start of the COVID crisis in March last year.
Prince William was also treated to speak to a few players of Aston Villa.
Wearing a face mask, he was heard joking with them on the sidelines of the football pitch despite the freezing weather.
