Minister of TransportationRotimi Amaechi has shared that he was attacked on Friday by Nigerians while on a trip to Spain.
Amaechi who is currently on a “national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid” shared the news on his Twitter, writing that he was saved by the Spanish Police.
He’s fine, he said, thanking Nigerians for their support. he wrote:
Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain. They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.
