It was reported that theNational Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE)embarked on an indefinite strike because the Federal Government failed to dialogue with themto resolve the lingering industrial crisis in the sector, causing a nationwide blackout.
Anthony Sule, Secretary-General of NUEE, confirmed the development in a statement, statingthe 21-day ultimatum expired on Tuesday.
A new statement issued by EKEDCvia Twitter, states that the supposed strike has been suspended and operations will commence immediately. Hopefully, we start seeing electricity in our homes.
