Mouktar Mohammed pledges more clinics for FCT coaches – Daily Trust

Buoyed by the success of the recently held coaching clinic conducted by Bayern Munichen legend, Giovane Elber in Abuja, the chairman of the FCT Football Association, Adam Moukar Mohammed has promised to deliver more of such clinics for the coaches.

The legendary Elber who doubles as an ambassador of the famous Bundesliga side drilled 14 selected coaches in the FCT on basic training.

After the coaching clinic which held at the Area 3 sports ground, the excited coaches also had a fruitful interactive session with the legend.

Apart from the coaches, youth players in the FCT also benefitted from the visit as some exceptional players were selected to represent the territory in the just concluded Bayern Munich Youth Cup Nigeria which held in Nigeria.

Officials also disclosed that a final selected team will represent Nigeria at the Bayern World Youth Cup in Germany in April.

Speaking to Daily Trust, the chairman of FCT FA, Mouktar Mohammed said he was only fulfilling some of his campaign promises.

He said it will unfair, if he does not use his international connections to impact positively on football in the FCT.

I cant take all the credit because it is a collaborative effort that is yielding positive results. However, it is gratifying that I am keeping to my campaign promises.

I am happy that we are doing the right things and football in the FCT is benefitting in different ways.

Based on partnerships we have built with top clubs in Europe, I can assure you that more of such opportunities will continue to come the way of our coaches and players, he assured.
