E-learning: DBI, Niger seal pact on academics, students training – Daily Trust

Sequel to its resolution to ensure teachers and students are well-trained in digital skills, Niger State government has entrenched its deal with Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), the States Commissioner of Education, Hajiya Hannatu Jibrin-Salihu has disclosed.

The commissioner, during a courtesy visit to President and Chief Executive Officer of DBI, Prof. Mohammed Ajiya said the state deemed it fit to have more collaboration with the institute with a view to entrench digital skills among teachers, youths and women.

She said, We are actually at the Digital Bridge Institute to thank them for the gesture of training about 200 of our teachers last year and we came here to have more collaboration and partnership with them, especially on e-learning.

In his reaction, the DBI boss urged teachers at various levels to improve their knowledge in digital technology, adding that state governments should also key into the various trainings being sponsored by NCC at the institute.
